Handcrafted in Japan, the MIYABI 5000MCD67 Shotoh Pairing Knife features a Micro-Carbide MC66 powered steel core wrapped by 132 layers of steel honed to a Flower Damask pattern. The handle is made of maple wood in the classic Japanese D-shape and is slightly enhanced by a mosaic pin and a steel end cap.

  • Do not bend the knife as this may damage the sensitive cutting edge. 
  • The knife is not dishwasher safe. Hand wash only and dry immediately.
  • To avoid rust and discolouration, do not leave the knife in wet or humid spaces.
  • Sharpen with a professional sharpening stone or a Miyabi pull through knife sharpener only.
  • Use the knife with wooden or plastic cutting boards only.
  • Chipping, breakage, or rusting of the blade due to accidental dropping or misuse are not covered by the warranty.
