bamix was invented in 1950 by Swiss engineer Roger Perrinjaquet. The handheld appliance allowed cooks to blend soups, sauces, and ingredients directly in the cooking pot. Bamix continues to manufacture its immersion blenders in Switzerland. The motors are produced in-house, and each unit is assembled and tested individually. The compact appliance performs multiple tasks with interchangeable attachments.
