About Degrenne
Maison Degrenne was founded in 1948 in Normandy, France, by Guy Degrenne. The founder introduced stainless steel cutlery at a time when most tableware was made from silver-plated metals. Stainless steel provided a more durable and accessible option for everyday dining. The brand now produces cutlery, porcelain tableware, and glassware used in restaurants and homes. Degrenne continues to manufacture cutlery in France and holds the EPV certification that recognizes French craftsmanship.
