Dualit was founded in 1945 by Max Gort-Barten in the United Kingdom. The company is known for its Classic toaster, introduced in 1952. The toaster was built with replaceable parts so that it could be repaired instead of discarded. Dualit appliances are designed for long service life and durable construction. The brand now produces kettles, coffee machines, milk frothers, and other kitchen appliances used in homes and cafés.
