About Spode
Spode was founded in 1770 in Stoke-on-Trent, England, by Josiah Spode. The company played an important role in the development of English ceramics and became known for underglaze blue transfer printing and bone china. Spode produces porcelain and earthenware tableware used for everyday dining and special occasions. Some of the brand’s most recognised collections include Blue Italian and Christmas Tree. Spode dinnerware remains closely associated with traditional English table settings and decorative ceramic design.
