The butterfly lid bin from simplehuman is truly one of a kind. This bin has an innovative butterfly lid design. Its lid opens from the centre for maximum clearance under low countertops. Its slim, space-efficient shape makes the most of tight spaces. The bin has a non-skid base. Its rubber pads are gentle on the floor and keep the bin steady. The bin’s strong steel pedal and patented lid shox technology ensure that it functions smoothly and quietly for years.
Features
Strong steel pedal
Simplehuman’s strong steel pedal is engineered to last over 150,000 steps - that's more than 20 steps a day for 20 years.
Silent close lid
Simplehuman’s patented lid shox technology controls the motion of the lid for a slow, silent close. When the pedal is pressed, the bin’s damper forces air out so the lid opens quickly. Afterwards, it uses resistance to slowly let air back in so the lid closes quietly.
Butterfly lid
The split doors of the lid open from the centre for maximum clearance under low countertops.
Internal hinge
Allows you to place the bin right up against the wall.
Stay-open lid
The lid stays open for as long as you like. It's perfect for longer chores.
Bucket park
The bin allows for easy liner change. All you need to do is lift the inner bucket a few inches, tilt it towards you, rest it in the bucket park position and change the liner.
Removable inner bucket
Durable inner bucket catches messy drips and lifts out for easy cleaning.
Fingerprint-proof
Fingerprint-proof finish resists smudges to keep the bin's stainless steel shiny.
Custom fit liner
Simplehuman’s code H liners are designed to fit this bin perfectly. They are non-slip and stay completely hidden. Their extra-thick plastic and double-seam construction prevent rips and tears. The liners are sold separately.
A simple promise
Simplehuman uses the best materials and solid engineering so their products last for years.
