Enjoy the benefits of cast iron:
The casserole is crafted from premium enameled cast iron. Its interior features a textured matte black enamel that requires no seasoning, while the exterior is finished with durable colored enamel for long-lasting beauty.

As a material, cast iron offers:

• Exceptional heat retention, slow heat diffusion, and even heat distribution for gentle, energy-efficient cooking.
• Excellent cold retention, keeping chilled dishes cooler for longer when refrigerated before serving.
• Outstanding durability for years of reliable performance.
• A durable enamel coating that resists thermal shock and scratching while providing naturally easy food release over time.

Steam and cook simultaneously
The included 18/10 stainless steel steamer insert allows you to prepare vegetables, seafood, dumplings, and other delicate ingredients using gentle steam while your main dish cooks below. This efficient two-level cooking system helps save time while preserving the flavor, texture, and nutrients of your ingredients.

Enjoy the benefits of natural simmering:
The lid's unique drop structure continuously collects condensation and evenly bastes it back over the food throughout cooking. The result is tender meats, succulent vegetables, and richly flavored sauces without the need for frequent stirring or basting.

Excellent moisture distribution and retention:
The specially designed lid distributes moisture up to 9 times more effectively than conventional lids and retains 10% more moisture after 55 minutes of cooking, helping every dish remain exceptionally juicy and full of flavor.

Use Directions:

• Before using the casserole for the first time, rinse it with hot water and let it dry.
• Brush a little vegetable oil over the inside surfaces, heat it for one minute, and then remove the excess oil with kitchen paper.
• Although cast iron is known to sustain very high temperatures, we recommend you gradually increase the heat from low to medium to high to avoid thermal shocks and damage to the surface of the cast iron.
• Select a stovetop that appropriately corresponds to the base size of your casserole.
• When using induction stovetops and glass-ceramic surfaces, always lift your casserole rather than pushing it to avoid damage to the cooking surface.
• Use silicone or wooden cooking utensils to avoid scratching the casserole's enamel surface.
• The casserole can be used as ovenware up to 260°C.
• The casserole is not suitable for microwave use.
• Never put a hot casserole on an unprotected surface.
• Suitable for all types of hobs, including induction.

Care Tips:

• Allow the casserole to cool before rinsing it with water.
• If food residues have stuck to the casserole, do not use abrasive or corrosive detergents, scouring powder, or steel sponges to remove them. Instead, soak the casserole in warm water and then remove the residues with a wash-up liquid and non-scouring sponge.
• Dry the casserole thoroughly with a clean kitchen towel and only store it away when it is completely dry.
• Though the casserole can be washed in a dishwasher, it is recommended that you clean it by hand for long-lasting and durable use.
• The steamer insert is dishwasher-safe.
