• Removes impurities, but minerals (calcium, magnesium) remain in the water.
• Powerful filtration thanks to hollow fibre membrane, granulated activated carbon and ion exchange fibre.
• Removes 99.99% of bacteria, and the finest microparticles >0.5 μm when present in tap water.

Water filtration in 5 steps:

1. Extra-fine filter fleece prevents coarse particles from old pipes.
2. Powerful ion exchanger fleece reduces metals such as lead.
3. Natural microcarbon from coconut shells:
       - reduces odour and taste-disturbing substances (e.g. chlorine).
        - provides a natural, freshwater taste.
        - reduces traces of herbicides, pesticides and pharmaceuticals.
4. Additional High-Performance Filter-Mesh retains small particles >60µm.
5. Microfiltration membrane reduces 99.99% of the bacteria, and the finest microparticles >0,5 µm when present in tap water.

Use Directions:

• Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
• To ensure optimal performance, change the filter cartridge on a regular basis. The display on the top of the BRITA On Tap counts from 600L down to 0L. When it has reached 0L it is time to change the cartridge.

Filter Exchange:

• Open the housing by rotating the cap.
• Remove the old filter cartridge. Insert the new filter cartridge.
• Close the system by rotating the cap until it locks.
