Ooni Karu 2 Pro Multi-Fuel Pizza Oven

Use Directions:

• Designed for outdoor use only.
• You can use your Ooni oven on a balcony as long as there is at least 1 meter of clearance on all sides and 3 meters of clearance above.
• To cook with gas on Ooni Karu 2 Pro, you’ll need the Ooni Karu 2 Pro Gas Burner. You will also need to source a separate gas hose and regulator.
• For the best performance with your Ooni Karu 2 Pro, we recommend using a combination of wood and charcoal.
• Always use high-quality, kiln-dried hardwoods such as beech, birch, oak, hickory, mesquite, apple, or cherry).  Make sure your logs are no larger than 20cm in length, as oversized logs are harder to ignite and can produce excessive smoke and soot.
• When starting our fire, use small kindling and natural fire starters. Avoid using treated, painted, or damp wood, or any wood with a high resin content (such as pine or spruce).  Also, steer clear of fire starters that contain harsh chemicals.
• Note: always wear protective gloves when handling and cleaning your oven.

Care Tips:

• To clean the outside: 
  Let the oven cool down completely and use a dry microfibre cloth or paper towel to wipe away soot. For tougher stains, clean with soapy water and dry immediately.
• To clean the glass door: 
  Let the oven cool down completely. Start by wiping down the glass with a dry paper towel. Mix a solution of 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water and wipe down with a rag. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Then, use the coarse side of a sponge to clean the glass with the solution. Rinse the glass with water. Use paper towels to dry the glass completely.
• To clean the inside: 
  Let the oven cool down completely. If you’ve used solid fuels, remove the fuel tray and dispose of any cooled ashes. You can use the Ooni Pizza Oven Brush to clean excess soot from the fuel tray and a dry paper towel to wipe away soot from the chimney. Avoid using water to clean the inside of your oven.
• To clean the baking stones: 
  Let the oven cool down completely. Scrape off stubborn bits of food with the Ooni Pizza Oven Brush. If there is any residue remaining, the heat from the pre-heat during your next cook will be enough to burn it off. For tougher residue, flip your stone over and reinsert it to allow a longer burn-off time. Never clean your stones with water as it will damage them. Don’t worry about your oven and stone changing color - it's completely normal and is the sign of a well-loved oven!
• When not in use, we recommend covering your Ooni oven with a cover.
• Store it indoors when possible.
