Staub Cast Iron Pure Grill Pan Black, 26cm

Made in France, the Staub Pure Grill Pan lets you enjoy the flavor of grilled food any time of the year. Optimized for high-heat cooking, you’ll achieve authentic grill marks when you grill steak, chicken, and vegetables. The ridges keep the food elevated, so fat drains away, food is cooked healthier, and the juices can be collected to conjure up a tasty sauce.

• Heavyweight enameled cast iron is exceptional at retaining heat, diffusing it slowly, and distributing it evenly.
• Resistant to rust, chipping, and cracking, the coating requires no additional seasoning.
• Textured black matte interior enamel provides additional heat resistance and a rougher surface, resulting in better browning.
• Resilient, durable, easy to clean, and perfect for oven-to-table serving.
• Can be used on all types of hobs, including induction, and is heat-resistant in the oven and grill up to 240°C.

Use Directions:

• Although cast iron is known to sustain very high temperatures, we recommend you gradually increase the heat from low to medium to high in order to avoid thermal shocks and damage to the surface of the cast iron.
• Select a stovetop that appropriately corresponds to the base size of your grill pan.
• When using induction stovetops and glass-ceramic surfaces, always lift your grill pan rather than pushing it, to avoid damage to the cooking surface.
• Use silicone or wooden cooking utensils to avoid scratching the enamelled surface of the grill pan.
• The grill pan can be used as ovenware up to 240°C.
• Suitable for use on any cooktop, including induction.
• Never put a hot grill pan on an unprotected surface.

Care Tips:

• Allow the grill pan to cool before rinsing it with water.
• If food residues have stuck to the grill pan, do not use abrasive or corrosive detergents, scouring powder or steel sponges to remove them. Instead, soak the grill pan in warm water and then remove the residues with a wash-up liquid and non-scouring sponge.
• Dry the grill pan thoroughly with a clean kitchen towel and only store it away when it is completely dry.
• Though the grill pan can be washed in a dishwasher, it is recommended that you clean it by hand for long-lasting and durable use.
