Staub Cast Iron Tagine, 28cm

Bring the authentic flavors of North Africa to your kitchen with the STAUB cast iron tagine. Perfect for both meat and vegetarian dishes, this versatile cookware made in France allows you to easily create aromatic and healthy braised meals. The unique conical ceramic lid locks in moisture and flavor, ensuring exceptional results. Crafted from durable cast iron, it's suitable for all stovetops, ovens, and even the barbeque, offering endless culinary possibilities.

• Cast iron is durable, acid-resistant, scratch-resistant, and exceptionally heat efficient.
• Internal coating made of matt black enamel, it's durable and provides perfect braising results and roasting aromas.
• Rough texture for exceptional browning.
• Requires no seasoning.
• Suitable for all stovetops including induction, oven-safe up to 260ºC, and barbeque-safe.

Use Directions:

• When using induction stovetops and glass-ceramic surfaces, always lift the tagine rather than pushing it, to avoid damage to the cooking surface.
• Use silicone or wooden cooking utensils to avoid scratching the enameled surface.
• Suitable for all stovetops including induction, oven-safe up to 260ºC, and barbeque-safe.

Care Tips:

• Allow it to cool before rinsing it with water.
• If food residues have stuck to the bottom, do not use abrasive or corrosive detergents, scouring powder, or steel sponges to remove them. Instead, soak it in warm water and then remove the residues with a wash-up liquid and non-scouring sponge.
• Dry it thoroughly with a clean kitchen towel and only store it away when it is completely dry.
• Though the tagine can be washed in a dishwasher, it is recommended that you clean it by hand for long-lasting and durable use.
