The Miyabi 5000MCD-B Gyutoh is a sturdy knife with a broad strong blade and a fine cutting edge. The all-rounder for professionals and hobby chefs. This versatile Knife can be used to chop meats and vegetables and mince and chop herbs. This Knife combines functionality with good looks in a supreme harmonious way. The blade has a core of extremely hard MicroCarbide MC63 powder steel embedded in 100 layers of steel that is hardened using a specially developed process called CRYODUR (ice-hardening at -196°C). The traditional D-shaped handle is made of Masur Birch for perfect balance, optimum control and tireless cutting.

  • Do not use the knife with hard foods, frozen meats, meat bones, crab and similar food items.
  • Do not bend the knife as this may damage the sensitive cutting edge.
  • The knife is not dishwasher safe. Hand wash only and dry immediately. 
  • To avoid rust and discolouration, do not leave the knife in wet or humid spaces.
  • Sharpen with a professional sharpening stone or a Miyabi pull through knife sharpener only.
  • Use the knife with wooden or plastic cutting boards only.
  • Chipping, breakage, or rusting of the blade due to accidental dropping or misuse are not covered by the warranty.
