Miyabi Koya 4000FC Gyutoh Knife, 20cm

The Miyabi Koya Gyutoh or Chef's Knife is the most indispensable of all knives. Perfectly diced onions and peppers, slender zucchini matchsticks, roll cut carrots and thinly shredded cabbage are just a few strokes away with this powerful, versatile tool. Crafted in the samurai sword-making capital of the world, Seki, Japan, Miyabi merges Japanese craftsmanship with German engineering expertise to produce the ultimate kitchen knives providing a Western or Eastern hold.

• Handcrafted from FC61 fine carbide steel for razor-like sharpness.
• The twice ice-hardened blade with sandblasted Katana edge offers exceptional durability, cutting edge retention and corrosion resistance.
• The ergonomic, octagon-shaped pakkawood handle with mosaic accent encourages fatigue-free cutting and supports both Western chopping and Eastern rocking cuts.
• 3-layer Damascus pattern classic Japanese aesthetic.
• Hand-engraved Miyabi logo on the blade.
