Umami Original Bento Box Black and Bamboo, 1200ml

Start a journey towards a healthier lifestyle with perfect portions that satisfy without overindulgence with Umami’s Japanese bento lunch box. It's 100% leakproof—upside down, or shaken around, the airtight silicone valve and seal ensure no food or liquid ever spills from either layer of your bento box. Whether it's lunch at the office, a picnic meal, or school lunch, this ultra-portable, sustainable bento box with a bamboo lid and a full wooden cutlery set is your go-to choice for a balanced meal on the move.

• Double-layer bento box with two containers held together with a strap, and two movable dividers to separate food and adjust the portions.
• Each container comes with an airtight lid featuring a silicone valve and seal, in addition to a top protective lid.
• The two leakproof screw-top sauce jars are perfect for dressings, dips, and nuts.
• Premium dishwasher-safe wooden cutlery designed for comfort and durability, neatly stored with a strap under the top lid.
• Microwave, freezer and dishwasher-safe bento box that won’t retain smells or stains.

What’s in the box:

• 1x Double-layer bento box with a top bamboo lid, consisting of 2 containers with airtight lids (capacity 600ml/container)
• 4x Wooden utensils (fork, knife, spoon, chopsticks)
• 2x Adjustable dividers
• 2x Leakproof sauce jars (capacity 30ml/jar)
• 1x Strap

Use Directions:

• To make your bento box watertight gently pull the silicone valve before closing the lid. Then once the lid is closed push the valve back in. This secures the lid in place and makes it airtight.
• Then to open the bento box, repeat the step; i.e. gently pull the silicone valve and the lid will come off without problems.
• Umami Bento boxes are designed to sustain a maximum of 3 minutes in a Microwave oven. This is enough to reheat your food. Remove the lid before heating and do not exceed 3 minutes as the high temperatures could damage the plastic.
• Do not use your bento box to cook food in a microwave oven, it is only designed to reheat already cooked foods.
• Never use a plastic bento box in a conventional oven no matter the temperature.
• Your lunchbox is designed to work as a single container lunch box or double container. When using your lunchbox as a single container lunchbox, attach the strap on the longer side. When using both containers put the strap on the shorter side.
• The sauce jar or mini container is designed to fit in the bottom compartment only. Close the lid firmly and place it in the bottom container to keep your sauce separate. And don't forget to take it out before you heat your food to avoid your sauce getting heated. Unless you intend it to warm up as well, and in that case ensure you open the lid.
• Fridge and freezer-safe.

Care Tips:

• Dishwasher-safe.
