Use Directions:

• Before first use, hand-wash with warm, soapy water and let everything dry completely.
• Install your lid seal to make your OmieBox leakproof.
• Wet foods (soup, yogurt) go in the Thermos.
• First, fill it with hot (or cold) water and let it stand with the lid off for 5 minutes. Then empty. Be careful with hot water!
• Twist the securing insert around the Thermos in a clockwise direction. Skip this step if you’re not planning to put the Thermos inside OmieBox.
• To seal, hold the Thermos with one hand & the lid with your other hand. Twist the lid onto the Thermos in a clockwise direction.
• The side compartments are great for dry foods (crackers and carrot sticks), but you can pack moist items here too. Just make sure there’s less than 1 teaspoon of liquid in each compartment.
• To close OmieBox, fold down the lid and latch it. Use the palms of your hands to push down on the box lid once it’s closed. This will activate the lid seal.
• The divider is great for keeping peas away from carrots, but its sub-sections are not leakproof.
• Do not microwave or place in oven, on stovetop, or in freezer.
• Do not boil the thermos.
• Each of the side compartments is leakproof for up to 1 teaspoon of liquid. Foods with high liquid content should be stored in the thermos. 

Care Tips:

• The inner tray is top-rack dishwasher safe.
• Hand-wash all the other parts with warm soapy water and allow them to dry completely before use.
• Food should not be left inside the box for more than 12 hours. As soon as possible and after every use, wash all parts with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow all parts to dry before next use or storing.
• Be sure to remove the lid seal and gasket for cleaning after every use. They can become moldy if you miss this step. Let them dry completely before next use or storing
