Made of mirror polished 18/10 stainless steel, and with handles that are made of thermoplastic resin, this serving tray is classy to use as well as firm and safe to hold. It evokes the feel of a happy get together, and complements glasses as well as tea and coffee ware beautifully. Designed for Alessi by renowned Italian designer Giulio Iacchetti, the Vassily tray makes for fantastic serveware.
Giulio Iacchetti
He has been an industrial designer since 1992. He also makes academic contributions for several universities and design schools in Italy and outside. Iacchetti has been awarded a number of international prizes. In 2001 his project for a biodegradable fork "Moscardino" (designed with Matteo Ragni) won the Compasso d'Oro ADI and is now part of the permanent design exhibition at MOMA, New York.
