L'Atelier du Vin "de Gaulle" Winged Corkscrew and Foil Cutter

The "de Gaulle" Winged Corkscrew and Foil Cutter is a sturdy, no-frills tool inspired by the French General de Gaulle lifting his arms into the air while addressing the public. Its powerful design, featuring two large levers and a sturdy spiral worm, makes extracting any cork a breeze without damaging it. The unpainted zamak body adds to its rugged appeal, making it a reliable companion for those who appreciate both form and function.

• Equipped with a specially forged worm and a five-step turn to properly grip the cork and extract it.
• Self-centering base helps to position it correctly on the neck, before plunging the metal into the soft cork.
• Its two large levers gently but firmly extract the cork.
• The inside of the base is covered in soft plastic to protect the bottle's neck.
• The head includes a large bottle opener to gently remove caps of any size.
