Demeyere was founded in Belgium in 1908 and specializes in stainless steel cookware. The company developed multi-layer cookware constructions designed to improve heat distribution. Some Demeyere pans use seven layers of metal to create stable cooking temperatures. The brand also introduced technologies such as Silvinox surface treatment, which helps stainless steel maintain its appearance over time. Demeyere cookware is widely used in professional kitchens and serious home cooking.
