Trendglas Jena produces heat-resistant glass cookware and drinkware based on the historic Jena glass technology developed in Germany. The original borosilicate glass was invented in the late nineteenth century by chemist Otto Schott in the city of Jena and later adapted for household cookware. After production of traditional Jena household glassware stopped in 2005, the technology continued under the Trendglas Jena brand using the original molds and equipment. The brand produces teapots, mugs, brewing accessories, storage jars, and glass cookware made from borosilicate glass.
