Microplane is an American kitchen tool brand developed by Grace Manufacturing in the early 1990s. The company became known for graters that use photo-etched stainless steel blades. These blades create very sharp cutting edges that grate ingredients such as citrus zest, cheese, and spices efficiently. Microplane tools are widely used by professional chefs and home cooks who need precise ingredient preparation.
